Weigh-In Friday

Friday, May 03, 2013

Here I am. It's Friday and weigh in day again.

Again this week, a teensy tiny almost a half a lb. loss. Today I weigh 154.2. A teeny loss is still a loss and I'll take it. A half a lb. a week, in a year would make 26 lbs. and I don't even have to lose that much. Ten lbs. would be fabulous.

This week I think I will try to plan out some basic dinners that I can switch off with. Dinner seems to be my biggest problem and if I have several to pick from (of things that I like) I think that would help.

Any suggestions out there on the dinner problem?

Exercise is going great. Do it every day and I've been trying to vary it some. I would like to try out some yoga.

WTG!!! Great job on the loss!

I'm a big salad fan at the evening meal. I can make a different salad each night of the week and be a happy camper.

    emoticon Good for you!
I wish you all the best on dinner plans. Dinner is the one meal that's out of my hands -- I just rely on portion control to make it work. My breakfast, lunch and snacks are MY responsibility and I've gotten them down to a simple healthy routine.

WTG on losing again. What kinds of things do you like to eat? Tonight my friends and I are having a fruit salad with bananas, pineapples, strawberries, apples and oranges. Not sure if it will be plain or with a slight vinaigrette. emoticon

spark recipes has several great ideas. if you track your meals on the spark nutrition tracker they have a meal plan you can use. i find i do WAY better when i plan because even my husband won't sabotage a planned meal...i get waylaid when we are too busy and just start to poke around for something to eat.

good luck with your planning and CONGRATS on the weight loss. emoticon emoticon
