My week summed up!

Wow, where did this week go? emoticon

I am pretty happy today, just completed my 5th straight workout. I have been alternating between kettlebells, Sparkpeople dvd, treadmill with weight training, and a wii cardio boxing (with weighted gloves!). Keeps me from being bored and I think its good to not get into a routine with your muscles...not a sore as I thought I would be, but I may change my tune tomorrow morning. Weekends are my down days, although I do active things with my daughter, just nothing structured. This weekend is her school picnic, so if its not canceled for rain, I will be walking around quite a bit. Unfortunately I will also be tempted by all the fried, and sweet treats too....oh well!

My eating could be better...I start off great, but then by afternoon, those freakin' munchies grab hold...since I am close to grocery shopping, we dont have a lot in the house...last night I just didnt feel like making dinner, so I had my husband pick up Taco Bell....not great. I have been drinking more water...less coffee, but I tend to drink more coffee when its cold and gloomy out....like today.

Still, I havent seemed to gain weight...and I am ignoring my doctor's scale that said I weighed a few more pounds than my home scale....I mean, when was that last calibrated...and I had my shoes on..... emoticon

Last night, I think my hubby and I decided we may try for a quick DisneyWorld trip for Halloween... We have always wanted to go, and do the party and dress up. I think my daughter, hubby, and I are all dressing like the mad hatter....Its nearly impossible for me to find a Mad Hatter costume that doesnt make me look like a tramp, so I am going to make mine from Thrift store finds...Probably all of ours, actually. It will be a summer project for my daughter and I! I did find a cute tea pot purse, and some fabulous hats online, so we will do some bits and pieces.... Very excited! emoticon

Well, my week summed up. Next week, more of the same..working out and keeping my food intake incheck...time to get moving! emoticon

    I know how that is when you don't feel like cooking every night....you might try the crock pot or a "dump" chicken recipe...you make the chicken and the marinade in a plastic bag ahead and freeze, thaw in the fridge during the day so all you do is throw it in the oven at night...

    Great week, now just do it again this week.

    The Disney trip should be fun. We went to the not so scary Halloween Party twice with our grandchildren. It was a lot of fun.
