Well, Well, Well!

Friday, May 03, 2013

Got my hair cut short to donate to locks of Love for cancer patients. Found out I have curly hair under all that stuff! Trouble is, I asked for a straight style, cause that's what my hair has always been. So now I have a fluffy mess, but I don't care. It's freezing without hair on my neck. Guess that's why they invented scarves! It'll be nice come summer, (if it ever stops snowing!) LOL Have a great day all. Hugs, B

Good for you donating to Locks of Love! But will we ever have spring? Cool rain here. OK we need it, but I would love a little sunshine!

I remember reading that the women of Carthage donated their hair to Hannibal's war effort to make rope. When Scipio finally captured Carthage he captured a city of bald women. Yours is a much better cause.

What a wonderful thing you did. You should be proud of your self. Surly God will put a gold star in your crown. I am sorry it is still cold there in 70's and 80's here. When it turns cooler it's like 50's and 60's. Maybe soon you will get warmer weather. Anyway your unselfish act touched my heart my mother-in- law had breast cancer and lost all her hair and the cancer society gave her to wigs. Her hair is grown back now. and she is doing alright for her age of 75. Bless you and have a great day. emoticon
