My first week of losin it...

Well, I did better on the calories the first day than the second, but today I'm ON it! I know it will feel good to see the number pop up on the scale in the morning. Looking forward to it. It may get a little hairy tonight, but I'll drink more to help the cravings. I got a few recipes and made a grocery list. I'm excited to eat better and help my family to eat better.
One thing that occurred to me today is that I always say, "I eat less than my skinny friend." Well, yes, but WHAT I eat is full of crappy calories!!! Epiphany....I'm on my way. I am taking the SparkPeople website slow, but I don't have time to do everything.
Overall, I'm happy with doing one thing right today. (Well actually more, but....) I stayed under calories, AND had a fruit smoothy with protein. I feel good!!
