The worst part about trying to get myself back on track is dealing with all the cravings. I know it's all about moderation, but when you're hungry and the food is easily accessible...well most of us have been there done that.
My biggest problem is I crave something when I see it or think about it. Food is EVERYWHERE...and it's so easy to get. Fast food, coffee shops, bagels/cupcakes/donuts/whateve
r at the office...yea...
So I'm doing my best to control the circumstances. Be sure I have extra lunch food at the office so I'm not tempted to run down to the pizza place on the corner. Keep the fridge well stocked at home so I don't have to grocery shop hungry. Get the b/f on board and make sure he knows this is important to me. Mostly I keep busy and try to avoid those craving triggers.
Sigh. This is harder than the whole training for a half marathon thing...ok maybe not, but sometimes it certainly feels that way. I know I'll be grateful when I'm running 13.1 miles with fewer pounds and less pressure on the knees. Gotta keep the ultimate goal in mind.
So glad this week is over...I'm ready to enjoy this beautiful weekend! TGIF y'all!
