I woke up at 3:30AM STARVING!!! My first reaction was to open the frig and look for a snack (which I would track) but I decided to first drink a glass of water to see if that would do the trick. And thankfully, it did.
I don't know how long it's been since I stopped, but I started measuring my food again yesterday.
Afterwards, as I tossed and turned trying to get back to sleep, I started thinking that, by eyeballing and not measuring my food, how many calories I was actually over-eating each day while thinking I was on track.
Taking the numbers from the foods I first eye-balled then measured yesterday, my judgment in estimating my daily food has been off by 35% to 50%!!!
(Okay, I know that some things are already portion-sized, like a slice of bread, an individual serving of yogurt, etc.)
But my mistake of eye-balling rather than measuring has the potential to increase my caloric intake easily by 400 calories each day. Maybe even more!
I don't need that!!!
