It really isn't that hard to eat healthier when your food looks & tastes so yummy. I have been trying a lot of "new" foods...most I've had before but never think of buying in the store or just never ate before on a regular basis. The other day I tried to eat brussel sprouts - I tried, even fried them with bacon - they are still gross. LOL! But today for a snack I ate a mango! Someone at my work even asked what it was! LOL...I've bought sweet potatoes twice now and even have a couple kiwis I'll eat soon. I basically barely leave the produce or meat section at the store anymore - it's kind of nice to have all my items in one general location - no need to walk all over the place! My breakfast that I made for myself this morning in about 7 minutes total was I think my best meal yet:
When avocados are good - they are DANG good! I ate the other half with my lunch:
For the last 24 days (and counting!) I have successfully replaced my bottle or pint of Blue Moon with a different kind of beer:
I know water would be a better choice (I drink plenty of that as well!) so I do limit myself to 1 of these on most days. I sometimes joke if I go for a second one saying that it's been a "rough day". LOL!
And here is the next beverage challenge which I will attempt for the first time tomorrow morning - replacing the delicious item on the left for the mysterious item on the right. Wish me luck!
