The blurr

Yesterday was truly a wonderful family day. After spending the morning with my older son, his wife, and our grandson, we relaxed until supper time, when my younger son came over with his girlfriend. He was excited about his first week training for his new job. We had a good visit with them, and had a mini banana split - 1 banana split 4 ways, 1 small scoop of frozen yogurt each, and mostly fresh strawberries that my hubby got that afternoon.

It was a rich, blessed peaceful family day, without any family drama, and good times.

It was very good.

I had a hard time sleeping, and woke in pain after 3 hours, so my sleep was limited to under 6 hours. Today was 5 and a half hours of work, allergy shots, and back home. I am totally exhausted, and have a busy (non-work) next three days.

I misplaced my pedometer, but I know that walking at work amounts to about 1.25 miles. I did not do physical therapy stretching/exercise. I don't like the back pain, and sciatica increasing. I am going to focus on getting healthy. I won't let the slow pace kick me down. I will deal with it, and stay focused.

Yesterday's pleasantness was so good, and rich. It was the first time in years we had that kind of day with our sons, even though it wasn't at the same time.

Today, I have done well following a healthy food balance, and am renewing my focus on water, and better sleep. I know both of those are key to being successful now.

I love the way you described your family time as good and rich. You make it sound as satisfying as a great dessert.
