Getting back on Spark has been going great and I am really feeling good about myself!! As usual, I love the sparkpoints and am really really loving how Bodymedia plugs my steps and fitness track right in making it SO EASY!!! I've started really trying to hit the 10,000 step mark daily but it is so difficult having a sit down job and 10-12 hour days. When my semester is finished next week, it should get easier.
Since boxing finished, I took a break from working out but have gotten back into it in the past couple weeks. I do heavy cardio Monday, lift arms Wednesdays, lift legs Fridays, and then stationary bike either Saturday or Sunday. I feel really good about my body (which hasn't been the case in SOOOO long) which is the real reward. :) Tracking my food has been going well though it has only been a couple days. I will be revisiting my New Year's Goals since summer is my off-time and I plan to readjust for this different season.
The only problem with tracking food for me is I get waaayyy too strict and serious about it. I think "How low can I go?"- not to the point of unhealthiness but to the point that I am not happy with myself. I may not allow myself to eat certain things to meet calorie limits and I refuse to do that because I know I will overeat on them when exposed later. Having this understanding and appreciation for myself is really great and helps me be both healthy and happy.
