Almost there...

When I joined SP in January 2012, I set my weight goal to lose 74 pounds with a ETA of May 29, 2013. I now have one pound to get to that goal and still about 4 weeks until May 29, give or take.

When I set the goal (129), honestly I didn’t think I’d be able to get there. More like some “dream weight” that my skeptical side told me I’d never be able to reach. Even though it’s in my “normal” BMI range, and I did weigh even less many years ago, I hear all the time that midlife changes everything, blah, blah, blah.

I may or may not lose that last pound by EOM, but I know it will come off sooner or later, and from there, I hope to maintain and continue forward. In fact, I set a new goal to lose 4 more, just to give me a cushion. That’s still well within my normal BMI, not to mention there a few places on me where I can safely afford to take a few more off (NOT that I’m complaining).

Anyway, I just want to take a minute to thank everyone for the support, suggestions, virtual hugs, Challenges (especially Krystal, Len, Candy & Paul and of course, Coach Nicole!) and so much more. Even when comments aren’t directed at me, I’ve drawn motivation from them and sincerely appreciate everyone & everything here. THANK YOU!
