Haven't blogged or even been very diligent about logging onto Spark every day, so guess I've been a little AWOL recently. My computer kept quitting on me, and then I got very busy with community group obligations, and just got out of the habit of getting here every day. Hopefully, my computer is good to go for a while, and the BIG CHINESE AUCTION that I am chairperson of every year is over, so here I am again Something I found out along the way is that it's just as easy to break a good habit as it is to form a bad one! I had begun to drift in more ways than just not showing up at Spark. So this morning before I did anything else, I wrote a list of reasons why it was important for me to continue to eat healthy, and lose weight. When the list was finished, I was convinced, and got right back to what I was supposed to be doing. I also realized that I had to take care of myself first, and stop worrying if everyone else was okay, and then take my turn. I love to help others, but I'm no good to them if I'm not in a good place myself. That includes taking TIME to get to Spark, write in my journal, read the Word and pray, track my food, and have some fun each day, too. So if every day is the first day of the rest of your life, my new life is off to a good start.
