I've always gotten a kick out of Wednesday being humpday... a lot of times, it really does feel like the peak of the week. It feels appropriate!
So, I broke down & called the manufacturer about my scale. Turns out it had a major calibration issue because I've been using it on the linoleum in the bathroom. Apparently there's just enough "give" in linoleum to make it really crappy for scales. So now my scale is on the tile in the entry. Weird place to weigh in, but whatever! The problem is... apparently my scale has had this issue for MONTHS and it's just been compounding itself. To the point that the scale was about 10 pounds off.
It's a minor setback, but it kind of makes sense. There were a couple weeks a while back that it just didn't add up that I lost a few pounds, even though I was eating junk. I figured I was just a magical diet machine! lol Now I'm paying the consequences ;P
We're supposed to post our food info a few times this week in a blog... so here's what I ate yesterday!
Work: Typical coffee drink
First half of lunch: can of Campbell's Select Mexican Style Chicken Tortilla Soup
Post-workout Breakfast: Bear Naked Fit Almond Crisp Cereal with 1/2 c. 2% milk
Second half of lunch: cucumber salad (1 cucumber, vinaigrette, 1 tbsp feta)
Dinner: balsamic/brown mustard/lemon/herb marinated grilled chicken, 1/2 c. extra sharp cheddar & tarragon risotto, 1 c. fresh string bean salad
Dessert: Kellogs Fiber Plus Caramel Coconut Fudge bar
I felt like I was eating ALL DAY yesterday. Grand total of about 1400 calories & a deficit of 1100 calories after my hour at the gym!
I decided to bite the bullet & reward myself for getting my vegetables in, staying in calorie range, and getting to the gym consistently for the past few weeks. Tomorrow I'm going to get my hair cut & highlighted. I haven't had my hair cut in about a year now & it's getting obnoxiously long! I'm looking at getting about 6-8 inches cut off, I'm excited!
