May 2nd and here I am sunburnt!

Thursday, May 02, 2013

Seriously, two days of warm weather and I am sunburnt already! My lilly white skin is not used to this sun that is actually hot!

I guess I better look for the sunscreen. Fortunately I am only burnt in one little area that caught the sun, not all over.

My daughter has a cool bright pink hat, I think I need to get one too! That will help me keep my shoulders out of the sun!

So how is the plan going?
Good so far, no weight loss in 3 days, but I did get to eat lamb and today I tested toast (wheat)
I wonder what the scale will say tomorrow? Even if it is up, it was so worth it! And that is my first piece of toast/ break in months!
This is a marathon, not a sprint! I put on my 20 pounds over 3 years, I am not expecting it to drop off overnight!
But I love The Plan so far...I just hope it works for me!
Toast and butter! YUM! I will be pleasantly surprised if it is a non reactive food for me! I'll keep you posted!

Dinner tonight was 2 tiny lamb chops with sauteed veggies and spinach.
Oh so delicious!
I added goat's cheese to my Dh's dinner.

Keeping my fingers crossed you are not reactive to bread!
I had bread dipped in lots of olive oil with my dinner tonight. I'm way behind on my water - all day in the car will do that. We had a 20 minute border crossing, not bad at all!
Good luck!!

It is looking very delicious. I am reading Mandi's blogs, got the book from the library and I am thinking of following The Plan too, but first we need to move house and once we are settled in, I will start.
