I've added to my fitness pretty steadily since January. From doing hardly anything to cardio enthusiast to carido and strength training. Just getting into the gym pretty consistently took me from August 2012 to January alone. I was doing better at eating but couldn't get myself interested in fitness again even though I KNEW I'd feel better once I started. It got to be more of a habit in late January and because regular routine for me to do it 3-4 times a week. .In about March and April I finally learned the art of PLANNING my workouts and scheduling them ahead of time. Then in April whether I was tired or not I got so used to it that it wasn't even an issue if I felt tired or unmotivated because it was scheduled; I knew it was coming and I didn't make anymore excuses just as I would treat a meeting at work or an appointment for my daughters checkups, etc.
The first thing I focused on was nutrition and now that I am doing a lot better at fitness I find myself most troubled with nutrition. In April once I'd added strength training consistently and then added a bit more cardio to kick it up I noticed a spike in my hunger. I've gotten planning my workouts down but I just can't seem to get the art of planning my meals down. Even when I do plan things out for the day I'm finding myself still hungry at night and fruits and veggies DO NOT satisfy the hunger. I've tried joining challenges but I don't follow through, I have the cookbook but I haven't done much more than go through it, I have the nutrition book for TurboFire and I bought a book recommended to be by a SparkFriend www.amazon.com/This-Your
which I have started reading.
It's not that it doesn't interest me because health really really does I just can't seem to get the combination down or the planning right. With so much to do with my little girl, work, fitness, getting my photography going, friends, etc nutrition planning is a struggle. I know I can do it, it's just going to take time.
