Actually doing some meal preparation and liking it!

Two things coincided this week to have me actually fixing more meals for myself. My spouse has work or another obligation every evening this week. AND I got a CSA share from a local organic market so I have food I normally wouldn't. I looked at the recipes on Sparkpeople and got some ideas for Monday night. I made an egg, mushroom, potato and onion mix and threw in some of what I think are chives, and dusted in some ground garlic and turmeric. If you're thinking that anybody would have thought to come up with something so simple, you're right! But not me because I don't generally do any cooking. Last night I had a salad with the bibb lettuce from the CSA bag and threw in some of the maybe chives and some rosemary.
There was also some rhubarb in the CSA bag and most of what I can find are sweets recipes. I'm going to make a rhubarb and apple "loaf" on Saturday. Anybody else use rhubarb for other than sweet things and could give me some ideas? Thanks!
