As many of you know, I will be walking the Cincinnati Flying Pig Half Marathon this sunday morning. I did it 2 yrs ago and was NOT prepared. consequently, i was in a great deal of pain by the time i finished and walked over the finish line. It took me a few days to be able to walk closer to normal. So, i vowed I would prepare for this one. I did that by walking more often. no actual training schedule, because I stink @ planning that kinda stuff. but, i am proud of myself for making the effort to move more. I think it will help. also, saturday is going to be a busy day for me and I will be in Downtown Cincinnati. So, i figure I will walk as many places as i can (library to convention center to horeshoe casino to library, then home from the bus stop). I think i might log the same # of miles as i will on Sunday. wish me luck.
