Since I am back at full speed in my healthy lifestyle, I decided to review my past fitness goals. I was astonished to find I had only reached 1000 fitness minutes in a month only one time, May of 2012!!!! SO in an effort to be more consistent, I have decided to do 1000 minutes this May, LOL!!! My goal will be to maintain the 1000 minutes every month there after, but let's just start with May=) So those of you who have been following my blog know that I am a numbers person, I need my goals broken down, so I can 'Eat the Elephant', in chunks. So here is my math,
31 days in May
-4 Sundays**** I do not focus on exercise/lifestyle, I choose to fully focus on God & family
1000 Minutes / 27 days = 37.5 minutes per day
So far this month I have already put in 24 , Yes, I am a little behind the ball, so glad I checked it early this morning. So for the rest of the day today I need 51 minutes.
I encourage all of you to look at your past fitness experience, and try to add 100 minutes to what you did last month. With the warmer weather, and summer just around the corner as a motivator, it should be easier.
