Something funny happened yesterday....and for a change...I won't be crying while writing this blog!

I was reading my new TV Guide magazine last night in bed, and on page 3 is their "Inbox," which is what they call their letters to the editor. This week, it featured answers to a Facebook poll. I was glancing at all the answers and finally read the post someone wrote about Mario Lopez being robbed from winning Dancing With the Stars. I heartily agreed (silently, since Du was already asleep), then glanced down at the name below that quote. No wonder I agreed! I had posted that on Facebook when TV Guide asked for opinions. I AM Pam Holmes!!! That was MY post!!! HILARIOUS! I don't even watch X Factor, so I probably was not qualified to respond, but I DO love me some Mario Lopez. I fell in love with him back when he was on Dancing With the Stars (DWTS), and really did think he got screwed when Emmitt Smith beat him for the championship. I have to admit Emmitt was extremely charming (his smile lit up the whole room), but Mario was clearly a better dancer. I fell in love with Mario then, and even though I remember him from Saved By The Bell, I became a major fan after his appearance on DWTS. (I love the costumes, the music, the dancing, Tom Bergeron....all the pro dancers, just LOVE everything about that show!) I LOVE Mario's dimples. I believe he also hosts the entertainment magazine show, 'Extra,' doesn't he? Once in a while I'll catch that show when I'm flipping around, and usually watch just a little bit longer because of Mario. He's just so yummy--and those dimples! Not to mention his six pack!! WOW!

And here I thought my days of getting publicity were over. I'm warning you--watch what you say on Facebook--it could appear in a national magazine!

I thought I was the only parent that secretly watched Saved By the Bell with my kids. (giggle) Mario is a definite hunk, and I totally agree with your DWTS opinion. He should have won, hands down! Funny how our opinion showed up so much later in an unlrelated article. Who'd have guessed? Glad you found a reason to smile today.

How wonderful that you have something that gave you laughter! And it came from you, which is even better. Mario is a hunk and I thought no one danced like he did on DWTS, so does everyone else thats mentioned it to me. I haven't watched X factor but now that I know he will be back sans Kardashian, I'll tune in for a little dimple fix. Thanks for sharing this lighter moment with us!

Now I KNOW why I don't post on FB! I could get into
serious trouble LOL! But he is a gorgeous hunk.
I knew I had seen him somewhere before. Keep on
smiling. It does a body good!

Amazing!! Just think, if you hadn't happened upon it you might not have ever known that your FaceBook post was selected for national publicity. I'm very impressed. I'm sure many, many people agree with you. (Since I didn't watch it, unfortunately I can't say whether I agree or not, but I'd bet you are right!)

LOL! I have always thought Mario Lopez was just about the best-looking thing on tv...and a great personality too. I don't watch any of those shows, but I appreciate his smile whevever it appears!

That's funny and cool that you found your own note. I haven't spent much time watching DWTS so I don't know who dances better.

A little out of the blue mood lightener! I love me some Mario as well! And I love DWTS. I watched the X factor a couple times and wished Khloe would go away and let Mario do the show solo.

That's to cool! But i'm sure now we can all see why it is that (all the famous people) can't remember all they might have said, because someone might be writing it down for us emoticon I don't get T,V, guide but just might need to let people know that I know a "SP" (special person) in there emoticon emoticon Have a great day!
