I think I am going to like this blog thing. lol I have come to the conclusion that since I have done so much Weight Watchers it is hard for me to get over the (FREE) foods. On SParkpeople everything count as it should. But on WW and apple is free bananas are free and I get that in my head and eat it them then I have to post the calories and i think what I am already over. It was just an apple. But if I eat 6 apples that is alot of calories. I lost 110 pounds on WW but couldn't keep it off as they wanted me to weigh 140 pounds I looked sick at that weight. I just want to healthier and weight less than I do now. So I can be there for my family longer. I want a life style change not a diet. I can't give up for the rest of my like things that I love to eat. I will have a brownie on occasion and a piece of bacon some times and will have to eat out also. Just have to figure out how to balance it all out... emoticon

    I could never figure out how WW could give you all that "free" food. Especially in the warmer months when I love to eat a lot of fruit (especially watermelon) Wow!! that could really add up and to not count all those calories????
Anyway, now you have the right idea. It's all about finding a balance. Nothing is forbidden, it's just about portion control. You want a brownie.... great! You want a piece of bacon..... great! Just log it or track it; whatever you do to be AWARE of what you are eating and be accountable for it.
It is all about being happy and healthy. It certainly isn't about a number.When you get to a size where you feel comfortable and are able to do what you want to do that will be the right number for you!! Good luck and keep sparking!! emoticon

    Good for you!
That is quite the accomplishment!
I too like an occasional piece of bacon and also like to eat avocados and a small piece of chocolate! I find you can have some good treats and still lose weight as long as you keep it to a minimum.
If I totally deprived myself I would be miserable and quit!
Sounds like weight watches wants to put you at a level that would be hard for you to maintain as well.
