Time passes slowly...

Thursday, May 02, 2013

I'm now into week 2 of my shingles adventure. I'm hoping with the early diagnosis and meds, that I will miss out on the "UCK" phase of the condition. Right now they itch and often burn; clothes drive me crazy, but it kind of looks as if the welts are drying up. If I am VERY lucky, they won't blister up and then start oozing...hence the "UCK" factor.

Other than that I am doing fairly well, all things considered. I have lost 9 pounds and not having nearly as much trouble adapting to the paleo lifestyle as I thought I would. Still making adjustments and on a learning curve, but I am pretty happy with the results.

Time for breakfast and to make my lunch!

Have a lovely day.

Oh, Darlin'! So sorry to hear you've got shingles! Yikes, what a nightmare.....
You do what you can to feel better, and know that healing energy is being sent your way from California.
Hope you mend up FAST!

Hi honey! I have managed to go to work every day. However, I finally gave in and decided to stay home today as the pain is worse and the thought of fabric against my skin literally makes me cringe. So I am in my supersoft, super light, sleep tank and which is about all I can tolerate today.
