"This modern world took our activity away. It is not our fault" Leslie Sansone . We can take it back, not the way it was before but in a new way . Our own way. We can choose to add it back by mindful living. Today I did 45 minutes 3 mile video walk. I am choosing to eat with the spar tracker . not slavishly but by making exchanges in each food group that fit my circumstances today. When I have a big driving in the car day like yesterday I will get out of the car at least every hour and walk 500 steps, counted on the pedometer. This may not bring scale changes the way I want but it will bring health changes and isn't that the more important part of this journey ?
I was also thinking about some friends who can not walk for one reason or another. If we can not walk because of our body or circumstance . Let's think what can we do to increase our movement? Upper body , legs, feet. neck stretches ? Today while riding in the car I am able to tighten and relax my muscles . I do not know how much isometrics help when sitting but I will do this as I begin driving today. I wonder how long I will be able to do this . Lets keep the spark with us.
