5.2 busy and oops.

Thursday, May 02, 2013

So I'm officially working 3 jobs for other people and 2 for myself. I'm part time caregiver at one job, a prn caregiver at another, a manager of a boutique at another, I'm still admining the writerotation site and I'm still writing a novel. I've gotten busy and less careful. I had a high blood sugar episode the last day of April. Roomie recognized I shouldn't be starving after eating (I had forgotten I had just eaten) so he asked me who was president. I don't know how long it took me to remember. It seemed like a long time. Then he told me he had been tickling my feet for a few minutes and I realized my hands also were numb. Scary. SO I must rededicate to keeping track of points. I feel yucky today. Tomorrow will be better.

emoticon that's scary- not even knowing something is wrong until it's too much so!

I hope you pull over and take hold of the reins.
Whatever you got to do... Do it please.

ON the other hand you weren't driving a car.

Did you have high blood sugar or low? I know when I have an insulin reaction (low blood sugar) I can't tell you my name, let alone who the president is, and it's scarey, or can be. I hope you are able to get things straightened out, and definitely, if you are diabetic (obviously) you have to eat on time if you're on insulin shots. I'm not sure how pills work, I've been on shots since 1975, and a pump during the last 10 years. But definitely, watch those blood sugars and take good care of yourself. With all those jobs, the risk of a reaction is going to increase because of all the activity. :) emoticon

Hmmm maybe you are taking on one job too many. I admire your energy and work ethic but your body maybe signalling you to take it a little easier and make sure you give it the nourishment it needs. That must have been frightening to know that you could not feel your feet or remember the name of the President. Please take good care of yourself and get better soon.
