Today is my 5th day of following the menu plans provided by SP and I am really pleased at how easy it is. If there is an item of food or an entire meal that I don't have on hand or just don't feel like preparing or eating, I can substitute from a large list of that food or meal group. This is not so terribly different from a few other diets I've tried but it sure feels different, and SP makes it so easy with the technology. Even though I am feeling " in control," I have to admit I fight urges to graze every morning and afternoon. My habit of grazing was bad and I am just now recognizing that I had it. I had convinced myself that because the food I ate was basically healthy, it was acceptable to stretch the meals out or sort of snack (really more like eat small meals) throughout the day...definitely relearning to eat just 3 meals a day with one or two small snacks, if any. Still working on drinking the SP recommended 12 glasses of water a day
I took my measurements and the scale is out of sight. I will take measurements and weigh again in one month, on the 30th of May.
