Breakfast: scrambled eggs with tomato, green and red peppers, onion and ham and 1 piece of whole wheat toast with blackberry jam
Morning snack: apple
Lunch: smoothie with blueberry yogurt, cucumber, strawberry, banana, strawberry protein powder, arugula and spinach
Dinner: 2 pieces of pepperoni pizza, 1 piece of cheese pizza and some chicken Caesar salad.
Post dinner snack: fun size kitkat
I am so thankful tonight was our last night for AWANA's because this candy thing is getting the best of me on Wednesday nights.
Anyways, I woke up this morning to 70 degree weather and my mom saying "you should go for a run and we can get breakfast afterwards." Well, I ended up barely hearing her and falling back asleep for another hour. What can I say, volleyball tired me out pretty good last night. So, when I finally got p, mom and I decided to go to a local park that has a bunch of trails that we've never been to before. It was beautiful! The only bad thing is no bathrooms on the paths. Well, mom said she was planning on walking about 30min and then we would go to breakfast. To me that meant, ok, plan on running about 3 miles. Well I passed her after about 20 minutes when I was heading back and she was still about 5 or 10 mom away from turning around, so I told her I was going to take the "observation deck" path and then meet her at the car. Well that path was a joke, I was hoping for some stairs, but all it was was a deck and then you turn around. It took me two seconds to do, so I decided to take the next path since I thought it looped around to the one I was on...I was wrong. I ended up coming off the path and into a subdivision a ways away from our car. So, I just kept running until I knew exactly where I was and then called my mom. I to,d her to NOT take the path I just took and that I was just going to run to breakfast and she could meet me there. So my 3 mile run ended up being at least 5. I'm really not 100% sure because the app I was running stopped working about a quarter mile in without me even knowing :( I definitely had some funny looks when I came into the restaurant and just bent over for a minute panting and sweating like crazy. They brought me to a table but I didn't sit down because I was so sweaty I wanted to wait til my mom arrived with my jacket for me to sit on. I wanted to protect the seat from all my sweat and protect my legs from all the sticking that would occur and all the germs that would try to attach to me.lol After breakfast we went home and changed and mom drove me to the chiropractor. I was definitely needing that after the week I've had so far. After that mom and I went shopping from some things I was wanting to get. My friend Patrick is getting married in July and his fiancé has a 3 yr old daughter so he asked for some help in decorating her room. So I bought some wood letters to paint and decorate that spell out her name. And for a 3 yr old girl who wants a princess themed bedroom, I think she'll like it :)
I also bought a couple more workout shirts while we were out today because after wearing my newest addition for the past two weeks, I decided I loved it too much to not buy another one...so I bought two more :) They're perfect for running and I do t feel uncomfortable wearing them around other people. Like while playing volleyball with strangers or hanging out with friends after softball. :) Then church tonight was our end of the year party and it was crazy. We planned for 30 and had 38 kids! We had enough food, but it was so crazy and stressful that I enjoyed my mini kitkats. I was hoping to hit the pool after church tonight, but open swim goes from 8:30-9:30 and I didn't leave church til after 8:30. We would have left sooner, but I talked to my softball coach about everything and I am going to play, I just may not pay it all right away. He doesn't agree with how things were handled or everything that they are doing, but he's doing what he is told so I told him I would try my best. Now it is time for bed in hopes of having a good day with the babies tomorrow that includes walking a few miles? Like 6 maybe? :)
