i really want cookies.. they have been on my mind for the past hour!! HELP!!

    Oh gosh, I'm so glad I'm not the only one! But I resisted, knowing it will only make me feel worse and that I would've just eaten too many of them. Keep us updated on how you're doing! :)

    If you can just have one serving of cookies, go ahead and have a cookie, but track whatever you eat on your nutrition tracker. Tracking helps with the accountability. BUT if one cookie leads to a dozen cookies DON'T do it. For me, one used to lead to more, a lot more. Get out of the house, go for a walk, read a book, call a friend, just do some thing to get out of the "cookie monster moment"! You can do this!!!!!

    Why do you want cookies? Assuming it is not because you're hungry, is there some other way to fill the hole?
    Wishing you were a little kid again? jump rope or skip around the block, or color in a coloring book.
    Bored? read some Sparkpeople health articles or learn the lyrics to a song.
    Craving sweets or carbs? How about some water to start with, then an apple or banana or orange.
    What is that cookie going to do for you and how will you feel after you eat it -- and all it's friends :-)

    Sounds like you're looking for something sweet.
    Try a fruit.
    If you can, go for a walk.
    Drink lots of water.
    Just ride out the craving, it will pass.
