My May Focus

I am in the home stretch! I only have 5 1/2 weeks to go and as I love to say, "God's timing is always perfect!" Here's why, May has got to be the busiest month for our family hands down. Soooo I need lot's of good energy to get me through it but it will be so wonderful to welcome baby in June when it's all over. We have three birthdays in May. Th 11th, 18th and 19th (our anniversary is in August;)) This year is a bit easier than last because we only have two graduations a kinder and an 8th grade. Usually we have a First Communion or Confirmation but we get a one year break this year. The events aren't so stressful as all the meetings, rehearsals, and all the rest that comes with transitioning a kid into high school. We did the dress shopping, but there are still collages and dances and fundraisers, Spring musical, awards ceremony, end of year picnic, teacher appreciation etc...etc... to go. Did I mention I am co-running a car wash this Sunday to help the kids raise money for their class gift?! It was going to be a brunch but the church is as booked as we are and so it's a car wash instead. Our son got a job as a lifeguard for the summer and he gets his license this month too but until then, guess who has extra taxi duty?
Anyway, my focus is rest HA!, water, and trying to stay in range although that is getting more difficult, some days I just need more or I'm dizzy. Baby is having it's final growth spurt and so I don't feel too guilty just try to make healthier choices. I was supposed to start my 6 week prenatal herbs for labor readiness but I decided to wait another week because the Braxton Hicks come on strong which is good but I really want to make it all the way through May. I am making my fitness minute goal only 500 for the month and I already enjoy the 20 minute workouts. It helps my back and sciatica while not leaving me feeling tired.
I know the whole world in busy in May with graduations, proms, and the like too so thanks for sparking on! Soon we'll be in summer!!!
