At the Great Salt Lake, February 2012. ~300 pounds. It's only from the chest up and I'm wearing a coat - at the time I probably was like, oh I just look fat because of the coat. What you can't see is my fat face, hahaha. These kinds of pictures just amaze me now.
~August. Started out. Down to about 280. New shirt! I'm fixing my car, is why I'm making Beast Pose with tools.
That's Gunther, my baby. Bought him in 2004. Sold him ~3 weeks ago! Was going to do a whole post about it at some point - very bittersweet to say goodbye.
I'm ~275 there, I think it was September 2012. Someone at work built a giant slingshot. For slingshotting stuffed toy Angry Birds, of course. At stuffed toy pigs, precariously balanced on stacked milk crates. Gooooood times.
Turkey trot! November 22, 2012 (Thanksgiving Day). About 267 pounds.
With Gunther afterwards:
Front view of me at ~256 in December, the matching photo to the one I used for my before & after posted elsewhere:
You'll probably be seeing a lot of Work Bathroom Cell Phone Shots. hahaha.
~253 or so. New clothes! My new size 18 black pants for work, plus random cute shirtness. Oh, this was late January 2013.
These are all recent. I've been hovering between 247 and 250. April - May 2013.
Swimsuit, after butt kicking swim class:
THE DRESS! Pardon my pink bra straps. hah. It's hard to see in the picture, but the boob area of the dress is redonkulously wrong sized/shaped for my actual bust. Someday I'll find a photo of me in it from 2007, in it's original debut.
TODAY. I was walking around today all "HOT DAMN, I AM *PREEETTY*". It's the size 16 jeans, I think. *wink*. Plus XL (instead of XXL) shirt from Old Navy.
Bonus tiny coworker in the background. hahaha.
But yeah. My VP actually stopped by my desk shortly after I snapped this to tell me I'm looking great lately. So it's not just in my head. I totally AM pretty.
THE MAKING OF BEAST BREAKFAST
Step 1: you will need a kitchen. With a stove. And pans.
Preheat the oven to 375 or 350, I forget. Let's say 375. And spray your baking pan (9x13) with Pam or other related spray product.
Step 2: get some stuff.
Chicken or turkey breakfast sausage (1lb), eggs (3), egg beaters (3, which is 3/4c), 2% shredded cheddar (1/2c), frozen veggies (3c. I used 1c each chopped broccoli, spinach, and kale), and greek yogurt (also 2%. 1.5c or 12oz. I weighed mine.).
Step 3: cook and mix.
Mix frozen veggies together (no need to thaw). Brown sausage & drain. Mix sausage into veggies. Mix cheese into sausage/veggies.
Step 4: pour into sprayed pan.
Step 5: mix some other stuff
eggs, egg beaters, yogurt, and I throw in some black pepper. Throw in some other spices if it pleases you. WHISK IT ALL UP.
Step 6: it will look weird and not entirely like eggs. Don't panic, yo.
Step 7: pour egg business over veggie business, slowly and evenly. It will look like it's not gonna cover it all but you're gonna be all right. Breathe deep.
Step 8: put that $%*& in the oven. Bake for ~30-40 minutes until the egg stuff is set and some of it is tasty brown to a degree that suits your fancy.
Step 9: cut into 6 giant squares. EAT SOME.
Yum. If I do say so myself.
