Today, I reached the 40 pound mark. Almost halfway to my goal. It has been an educational ride getting here. It was not real easy at first. It took some time to line up my sodium, cholesterol, fat and calories. But I have done it. I rarely go over my sodium and cholesterol now. I find that I don't retain as much water and my blood pressure and pulse rate are lower. I am really enjoying the daily walks MCIANGEL1 and I go on and the lighthearted competition of Wii Bowling. The biggest change has been in how I look at nutrition. I really love food. I love food like I love MCIANGEL1. I have a passion for flavor. I love to try new and exotic foods. I still have that passion. Now I also have a passion to create foods that are not only good for my taste buds, but good for my body. I love that I am never hungry because I fill up on veggies and protein rich foods instead of the MEGA HIGH carbohydrate and saturated fat doused foods I once loved before this journey. I love my new life and the direction it's going.
