Nice day today, still very hot at work.. 82 degrees outdoors..
Yesterday I decided to walk away from the glucose monitor and try to get my BP down. NO -go, but I did eat a nice big salad with leftover turkey breast and grape tomatoes and onions for dinner, then promptly fell asleep in the chair for about two and half hours,, DD woke me up, I walked right in to the bedroom, fell on my mattress ,and did not wake up until after 1 am. Back from BR I fell back in bed and slept like the dead until my alarm at four-ish..
This morning I rose five minutes earlier to attack this darned monitor again!!
It turns out that I must not have pushed the test strip in hard enough to even activate everything before. This morning I did the whole process in about two minutes! Never saw one used before or was shown by anybody. Not trying to be smug: A monkey could do this !!!! emoticon

My BS was slightly high,, 129, but since I am clueless, I will take it for hoping I will live another day,, I want to get it below 100, but at four am, it is hard, considering I do not rise the same time every day.. tomorrow I do not work until 7 am, but will rise at five-ish just to test to keep them the same,,
Doc told me I only have to test before breakfast and if I feel weird.

We have inspections and testing the next two days at work, so it will be f=very stressful. My BP is still high, but I am hooping this new med will start working soon.. I have had six doses already..

Well if the meds dont kick in soon, hopefully it'll improve when your inspections and testing are done. Stress can affect your BP big time. But it sounds like you are on it. Im sure you will see improvements soon. Take care of yourself.
