I had an ah-ha! moment this week. After having a rough 24 hour stomach bug, I had some extra motivation to start eating clean and healthy. And working out. I found myself doing 2 10 minute workouts when possible. And I thought I would be depressed after "only getting 20 minutes in" instead of working hard. BUT NO! Doing smaller workouts and actually finishing them was getting me amped up for the next time. It was so much more encouraging than trying to finish an hour workout and having to stop mid-way. That's frustrating. It feels like failure. But in this new way, I workout the same and I'm thrilled at the accomplishment when I'm done!
I'm sure this is common knowledge around here and, YES, I know SP really advocates doing it this way. I just finally got it :)
