I got it at about 10am yesterday and just from then I am super glad I bought it.
I LOVE how it tracks everything and I was right, it definitely motivates me to hit the goals I set for each day.
Example. It was about 9pm and I was debating on whether to go to the gym or not. I haven't really gone in about 2 weeks because I have been focusing on training for the 5k outside. I logged onto FitBit's website and noticed I was short of meeting my steps for the day and my activity level - SO I went! :) Didn't do much but it was more than I would have done if I sat on my butt on the couch.
The food tracker is probably the best I have seen on any website (sorry Spark, you do come in at a close second. lol). It is really easy to use.
We went on a hike and I loved seeing the little digital flower grow on it. It was the tallest it could be because I was active for a good amount of time. :)
It syncs to Sparkpeople!! I LOVE this about it. I never ever update my fitness because it is too much of a hassle lol Fitbit does this for me. :) Takes my active minutes thoughout the day and my estimate calories and bam. There they are. It also logs my steps. :) Love love love!!!
The sleep tracker I had to mess with this morning because it said I fell asleep in 19 min. Um yea, I tossed and turned for over an hour before I feel asleep but once I got the correct times in there, it was neat to see how many times I woke up (or tossed and turned). The silent alarm I was skeptical about too but it worked like a charm and woke me right up! Hubby didn't even hear it. :)
Well I had better get to work. :)
