yesterday was unbelievable

Wednesday, May 01, 2013

Good Morning. - yesterday I was at my computer. I get a call from my DS around 7 am. He never calls that early. He is mad, but then breaks down. He says his Sgt made him walk in a ditch with his walker during formation. He says image this- my walker is wider than the ditch. He has to angle it about 45 degrees to make it through the ditch.
He breaks down again. He says they treat me like I am non-human - I am of no consequence. I listened but I was so mad. I believe in miracles. I was put in contact with someone who I hope can help my DS. My phone was ringing constantly yesterday. I hope heads roll. No one is going to treat an injured soldier or any military person that way. What is this world coming too! My DS loves the Army, but what is going on.
He talked to his Sgt and they came to terms and they are now trying to get him out early. I think they have finally gone overboard. I still pray that something gets done so no one else ever has to suffer like my DS has. I want to hear what is happening today to him. I hope this person I spoke to will actually follow through. My DS has been getting abused. My DH still feels that Army is trying to kick him out without benefits. I have to turn this over - I will go mad. Please send your prayers. emoticon I am going to the gym today.

Army can really suck!! They treat wives like dirt. I know, I was stuck in Germany for a year before they finally flew me out, I had to threaten suicide and the American Red Cross got involved and ordered them to ship me home. I left ONE day later!! I hope your son gets his benefits!!

I am just speechless. Stunned. In disbelief. I wish there was something I could do. NOBODY should be treated that way . . . ESPECIALLY a soldier wounded as your son was. I am just angry for you and he. Hugs and prayers. I hope heads roll too. That is just inexcusable.
