how it got to be may already... well, the usual way, i suppose.
today is the last day of jet lag - theoretically we shall be recovered (takes 7 days), but my sleep deficit goes back to the beginning of april, with all the travel we had. to sum things up, FANS:
Fitness - we are back on track with our running. three times so far, 5 miles, every other day, of walk-run, and aiming for 7 miles a day total with walking. aiming to get 15,000 steps on the fitbit (i do love that fitbit... if only i could stop losing the charging cable...)
Attitude - still motivated, trying to recommit here on spark. my one year anniversary of getting active here on spark passed quietly by, march 25-ish, but i see that my actual honest to goodness sparkiversary is coming up - may 7, 2006! i can't even remember back to then...though a check showed i started at about 15 lbs more than when i started in 2012.
Nutrition - it is sooo good to be back to my home-cooked plant-based meals. we've had homemade hummus, black bean soup, blackeyed peas in salad and stew - sooo good!
Self-monitoring - ok, so it's a bit hard to get on the scale at the end of the day because i don't want to know the worst, but at least i am willing to face the music early in the day - and it's moving in the right direction.
