Thank you Spark friends for the uplifting comments on my scale venting.

Tuesday, April 30, 2013

I appreciated all of your comments. DH and I had a long talk about it too. I came downstairs to over 100 e-mails and we had to get to our lecture series early since DH was helping set up.
We also had to take down and I was actually feeling hungry, a rare occurrence for me.
We ate fast food. I had a side salad and grilled chicken and 2 cups of coffee with cream and I was satisfied.

We got home a little late I was trying to find a book on HAY BALE GARDENING but our library did not have one so I will have to buy one. I really miss my tomatoes and I would like to try to grow food this way.

We arrived home and I needed to call Nevada to see how our youngest sons plans are coming along for their trip to Maine in August. I interrupted our 10 year old Grand daughters exercise session. She was doing push-ups. I chatted with Grand daughter and DIL for almost an hour it was wonderful to chat with her about her life, her piano and her dogs.

As soon as I got home I went back to doing yard work and it went well.
I had prepared dinner so I only had to heat up our Beef stew and then downstairs to look at my Spark page.

I thought my computer had a problem because in the start up page I had an error message saying my mail program was not installed right.
I was wondering what to do when the thing came to life and put 108 e-mails in one account and 11 in the other.

It was almost 7.30 pm when I found them so I looked at my blog and read all of your comments.
You made me so happy, I felt I had made a good decision after I had read them.
After I posted them I had my doubts about over re-acting to a single month challenge hinged on scale watching.
I am feeling so relieved. I have had no time to get back to some of you I will do that tomorrow.

Again, it is late and I am off to my bed it is 11 15 pm and there are things I must do, so once again THANKS for your support. HUGS Pat in Maine.

Nothing beats talking to our loved ones on the phone..unless of course we get to see them in person. DH and I just talked long distance to our son.

Pat, glad your friends were able to help. We did potatoes one year where we put hay down, potato eyes, more hay and then dirt. The potatoes grew and we had "clean" potatoes when we uncovered them. HUGS, Terry

Isn't it great that we are able to talk to those long distance children and grandchildren on the phone. It sure helps when we live far apart.
I am missing fresh tomatoes too. It is getting close to time to put them out here. We are enjoying fresh asparagus right now.
