Letter of Encouragement

Tuesday, April 30, 2013

This is a letter of encouragement, to myself and to everyone else who might be doubting themselves or losing the faith!

You are strong enough. You've made it to this point, wherever that might be. You took the initiative to sign up to SparkPeople. You've tracked nutrition, fitness, and wieght - you've tracked the water you've drank!!!! At some poiint you recognized that determination, it brought you here. After all, you can't fail if you never tried. Acknowledge this set back, whatever it is, kick it's butt, and move on!!!!

You are worth it. You didn't begin this journey to join an exclusive club or to please some outside group. You began this journey because you valued your health, your family, and your intrinsic value as a human being, a person!!!! You have a right to health, to fitness, and maybe even apair of size 8 jeans. All you have to do is stake your claim ~ fight for it!!!!! You deserve the peacefulness that comes with good health and fitness.

You are capable. You have the tools to succeed both on SparkPeople and in your realtionships. You have the knowledge to make good decisions. You have the willpower. Believe in your strength, believe in your value, and you can achieve any goal you choose.

Your choices have brought you to this point and your choices will take you to where you want to go. If you're reading this it's because you chose motivation over dispair. You may have fallen but you can lift yourself back up. Set a goal, proceed, finish. Then do it again :)

Yes. We all have setbacks. The trajectory to our goals is not a straight line. But with experience, you do start to work with yourself a little better. You kind of learn to flow with the punches. Good luck to you, Glenn
