Covered 408.2 miles this month, not counting kayaking or elliptical mileage, That is an average of 13.6 miles a day. Not too bad. To tell you the truth I thought it would be more though. It felt like more. Maybe because it was mostly walking miles. Cooper is the most walked dog I know. Happy dog! So, next month I think I will aim for 400 miles once again. Thursday will be my crazy long walk to start the month out right, but I need to get serious about training for the 5k in June, so my mileage might go down a little. I can walk until the cows come home, but running is much harder for me, so I don't go as far when I run. I might even do one of the 5k training programs again, but this time outside instead of on the treadmill. I can do a 5k, no problem, on the treadmill, but when I take it outside I am not there yet.
I lost just over 2 pounds this month. That is about what I expected, so I am happy with that. I should be at my goal weight by my 2 year Sparkversary if I can keep up this rate of weight loss. That would be a terrific way to celebrate wouldn't it? It is difficult to wrap my head around the fact that I have lost nearly 160 pounds. Picture 160 one pound boxes of butter stacked up. It is a daunting image. I have actually shed that much weight in two year's time. Mind boggling!
