physicals and needles

got more pre employment stuff done for the hospital today. took over two hours, insane. i have to go back thursday to get my TB test read and get my ID badge. then may 13th it starts :)

went for my first run today. it was good. hard, but good. im sooooooooooooo out of shape. i didnt measure distance, i was going for time. at first i thought ok, run three walk one. yea, that hurt, alot. so, i walked one, ran one. its weird that its such a step down from where i was running 6 miles a day, but we all have to start somewhere. so tues thurs sat are running days for right now, then mon weds fri are cross training days, sunday (and monday for me, not jon) are rest days. oh! my new running attire should be showing up on my porch any minute. so excited!

i was happily munching on some pineapple and grapes as a snack last night. small portion, small bowl, with a little v8 for the side. jon (adorably) chimed in that if i eat fruit only for snacks, i could have a harder time loosing weight, and that i should eat more veggies (which i do but yes i could use more) so tomorrow when i get paid, its shopping time.

aside from that stuff im just trying to finish out the semester with a bang. few more exams to do. gah. hate. my head hurts right now, and i know i should be studying for my exam, but im not.

anyway, i need to hunt down my pain meds, this headache has lasted for 5 days now. sooo over it. may goth be with you emoticon

    Good luck with your exams!!!!
I don't think that eating fruits for snack will make you lose weight in a slower way. You just have to find a variety of snacks, so you won't get bored.
The pic is great! Love the clothes!
I hope the headache is gone!
