I just finished putting the final touches on my consistency calendar for April!
Here's the photo for accountability:
I gave myself stars for maintaining my nutrition/water/log-in streak (I'm on day 95), eating something green and/or leafy each day, walking each day and attending 2 toning classes per week! Now, I'm going to set-up my calendar for May before heading out for a quick bike ride before my belly dancing class!
As I mentioned in my last blog, I am currently experiencing evil lady hormonal time. I've had some cravings but instead of trying to ignore them, I've been working with them and trying to indulge my cravings while adhering to my eating goals.
To this end, I had a chocolate smoothie for dinner.
I modified this recipe I found online:
2 sliced bananas
2 teaspoons raw cacao powder
1 tablespoons almond butter
1 cup whole milk
1 scoop chocolate protein whey powder
1/2 cup ice cubes
Put all ingredients in the blender and mix well. Makes 2-3 servings. I have some leftover for breakfast tomorrow. This was definitely filling enough for a whole meal, although you could probably have about four ounces as a snack. Mmmmmm, creamy chocolate thing.
