8 hrs. shopping with 82 y.o. m-i-l, for real!!!!!!
I am tired out, but at least my sore knee is still moving... The challenge was in sticking to my new plan while away that long. My plan was bring a bag of veggies, a yogurt, and a can of fish with me. So, I ate that while they went to Wendys. I dare say I got way more than 17 minutes exercise today. Now, I have an overfull fridge of veggies and fruits. By 8:30, while we waited for m-i-l in library, I did have dh's Tender Tuesday chicken breast. But with no oil today, I am counting that a success. Then when I came home, I had some of the chicken veg. soup I made last nite... now gotta have my cup of green tea...
Seeing the scale drop from 196 yesterday to 193.6 today was a real motivator. I am sure it is just fluid loss because of not having any carbs, and less salt, but it still looks good and makes me feel good. I know (from many years of experience) that I can't put all my faith in the scale, so better buck up and be ready for it not moving every day, I may watch it till it drops into 180's though, that would be almost as exciting as when I dropped below 200 last spring... Optimistically brought Sz. 12 jeans and Medium underwear today. They were cheap, but would still be nice to shrink into them....WooHoo, red satin high legs!!!!
