Took advantage of the awesome weather

Tuesday, April 30, 2013

In Wisconsin, the first warm day is one many of us like to take advantage of and I was no different. I picked up my daughter after work and I took her to a park that we both enjoy, but have to walk a bit after parking to get to the play area. Then instead of sitting on the bench and watching her play, I kicked off my flip flops and swung on the swings with her. Then we played in the sand together, and then I helped her go down the pole and watched her go down the slides. Finally she was tired half way to the walk back to the car so I gave her a piggy back ride! My legs are really sore now, but it feels good! Going to reward myself with a nice shower. :)

How awesome is that MOM?!? That is so wonderful! I really love spending time with the kids - especially when I have the energy to do things WITH THEM. It is great!

So glad you are having warmer weather - we are expecting snow tomorrow but we have had a few days of warm. Not too bad!

Enjoy relaxing - you deserve it!
