Spring has sprung - maybe

Spring is trying to set itself in place here in Oklahoma. Things kept getting hung up though, with freezing temperatures showing up about once a week. It's in the 80s today, but tomorrow night it's supposed to get down to 36!

Anyway - I'm still plugging along with the goals I set in January. I haven't had a ton of luck though. I did the 1000 calories for a month - lost a total of 5 pounds then stagnated. I added exercise for another two weeks, and lost another 5 pounds. I've been stuck there ever since. Clothes are still more loose fitting, but my body seems to be more droopy rather than firming from the efforts. But I'm taking whatever comes.

Around the first of April I started working to finish some writing that I've been playing at for the past three years or so. That then led to beginning a blog as a place to share the information with others. Just simple lessons with a few of my personal thoughts thrown in on the blog once a week or so. is my "work". This is what keeps me from lazing around more than necessary. The only negative is that it does keep me sitting. But I'm getting up earlier, plugging away at my to-do lists, and feeling more positive about my ability to just live like I should and not get so frustrated about my weight. If it's meant to come off, something I do will allow it do so. I'll just wait to find what that ideal something is.

I hope that everyone is having the results that they are hoping for in their endeavors. I'll try to be better about getting back here so I can be an encouragement.
