Okay. I know. It's really cheesey. But I HAD to after the day I had yesterday! I used the weekend to get things done and enjoy the weather and go hiking. I don't regret it a bit! But, usually I at least do SOME work over the weekend, so I started Monday behind and stressed to catch up.
Then, I realized I was supposed to bake a few dozen cookies for my bf's boss's going away party. So that's what I was doing at 11:00 last night! Woohoo! But, with all of that, I think I had a pretty good day nutritionally!
Bear Naked Fit Almond Crisp Cereal with 1/2 c. 2% milk (so tasty & filling!)
My typical coffee drink!
Peppered Turkey sandwich on plain ol' white bread
Cucumber Salad (1 cucumber, 2 green onions, 1 tbsp feta chopped up, vinaigrette)
Blackened Chicken Breast (3 oz breast seasoned, used a little nonstick spray)
White Fiber pasta with alfredo
Combine that with my 2 miles on the treadmill and the circuit room, and I was feelin pretty stoked!
However, I've been rather grumpy lately with my lack of weight loss. Yesterday's totals brought me to a deficit of 1200 calories (something like 1300 consumed, 300 burned, and a BMR of 2200). I've been in that general range consistently, so I SHOULD be losing weight!
So for kicks, I hopped on the scale last night to check my body fat percentage. First, it wouldn't DO its body fat measurements. So I turned it over to check to see if there were any instructions to reset it. There weren't. I flipped it back & tried again, this time it would go. Now, I know the scale isn't going to be very accurate because of the way it does measurements, but it jumped my body fat by 10% since the last time I took it. That seems a LITTLE crazy. Also way out of whack is that between the first time I hopped on & this second time about a minute later... I apparently gained 4 pounds.
Today I hopped on & it's reading higher numbers than I would expect as well. I'm going to look into exchanging it because it doesn't seem like things are quite right. I tried moving it to a different room. I dunno. Makes me grumpy & being stressed out isn't helping things dammit!
