Maintenance week 61

Still feeling like I’m having good results with my current meds, and it has been nearly a month. In fact, I should try to remember to order my refill soon. I only have 2 days left:)

I am still getting to work early every day to walk before I punch in. That has been working really well, and I am so glad that I have added that habit to my day. Once school is out at the end of May, I hope to be able to continue the habit religiously. I don’t have any particular distance or time frame “requirements” set for myself other than getting in at least 10 minutes. Most mornings I get time to walk a mile before work! Today I even got another one in during my lunch break after I finished eating. It feels pretty good that I have given myself this opportunity.

    Great job! emoticon I've been walking to work a couple of days a week, and just love it! I used to feel like walking wasn't "enough" but sometimes it's really just the ticket, and it's active not passive....and doesn't wear me out like running can.

Also 61 weeks!

    I always feel better after morning walks before school. Good for you. It is turning into a habit. I am just glad the sun is out in the mornings! emoticon

    It definitely sounds like your walks have transitioned into the habit stage -- which is awesome!!

I am going to work on fitting extra fitness into my days starting tomorrow. (May 1st - new month. 1 year anniversary of my 10min fitness streak). I know for sure I can fit it in at lunch, and do more on weekends. The new warmer weather definitely calls for me to start ramping it up and it would be nice to make some new habits that fit nicely into my days.
