I officially weigh more now than I have ever weighed in my life. Ugh. (Pregnancies don't count!)

But I am going to use this as a motivator. I am eating well today. I'm going to stay busy cleaning the house rather than sit around reading and eating. I will go for a bike ride soon, and later this evening I'll go for my second walk of the day.

I also decided to break my goals down to realistic goals (at least I think they're realistic). My first goal is to be down 5 pounds by Fourth of July. That sounds like it should be easy but I've not been able to budge lately at all, so I'll be happy if I can lose 5 pounds.

I know that weighing my food, and logging all my calories has been key to losing weight in the past, so I'm going to be religious about that. Also, I'm going to aim for at least an HOUR of exercise a day.

    emoticon emoticon Be kind to yourself. Have fun with all the new foods and recipes you can try. Don't think of doing workouts but how about make fun of it by dancing or playing. This is not a diet but a life change. Don't give up. emoticon

    Sorry to hear that, but you have a plan and that's what we all need. Baby steps worked best for me when I got stalled out so if you meet a bump on the road, go back to baby steps. It might help. Woo hoo!

    You've got a plan!! AND, it seems like a great idea to do it the way you are....just don't expect too much too quickly and you'll be amazed at how it disappears.
