Well, I've slipped up in my quest to consume no wheat. Not a complete slide, just a little bite or drink here and there. (Guinness was involved, my friends!). I did feel a little snius-y and I definitely detected some pain in my knee joints in the following days - but nothing terrible. Back on the wagon now!
My exercise has mostly consisted of using the baby as a medicine ball (Oh the giggles when you toss her in the air or swoosh her side to side - ab work! - when holding her! I also hold her and do squats. :)), but last night I popped in my hip hop hustle DVD and did that for a bit, definitely fun. Still definitely lacking a plan here though. Need to get on that.
I've also been slipping with my A+ meal planning lately, but I HAVE been consistent with (relatively) healthy, fast backup options (like a microwaveable sweet potato, the bags of pre-cooked chicken, or an Amy's frozen meal).
So things are moving along. I think I'm down about another pound, which is good, but I still need to put more focus and energy on stepping things up.
For May I joined a 5% challenge so hopefully this will commit me to logging into SparkPeople (even on weekends!) and logging food and fitness minutes. I expect this will be the push I need to really get going. Wish me luck!
