A New Month

WOW~ I can't believe it is May 1st tomorrow. Where is this year going. I am major sucking at all of my goals. For the year I am down .6 lbs-better than gaining but I really need to get on track. May 5th is 4 months until I have to put on a bridesmaid dress and I don't want to look like an overstuffed sausage :( All this talk about weight- I really try to be a positive role model for my step daughter and try to be active and plan good healthy meals. Last night she was pinching her thighs and saying how fat she is-broke my heart.
Goal for May: Heathly Self, healthy family.

That is a great positive focus...much better than thinking you suck at your goals. Ok...winter is over...finally...now you can make some daily healthy family time. How about setting some sub goals out of the May goal...specific things...like streaking a daily walk with your step daughter...to take the wt./body image focus out of it for a young girl, you could say that you want to have some girl time...walking, talking, fresh air etc= healthy self, healthy family.

    just remember you are worth any fight and any effort to be the healthiest and happiest you can be. Small changes over a long period of time equal a new lifestyle and a new body style. You are worth being happy and showing that happieness to those that need to see it.
