So today on Spark Coach, Chef Meg, who is a marathoner BTW, talked about how to shop in a healthy way. Now, I really did already know that shopping for your groceries on the perimeter of the store is the way to go...I just don't always do that. Unfortunately I can be a sucker for the 2 for 1 items. "Oh look...Lay's chips are buy one get one free!" That's where I seem to have the most trouble
. I have to figure out that it is NOT a good deal when most of those chips will wind up in my mouth when I am tired or lonely or bored. My husband rarely even eats chips but I tell myself, when shopping that they will be for him. So, I continue to learn...and that is a good thing.
