Las Vegas & Losing In a Good Way!

I have been in Las Vegas for 8 days. On Wednesday night we are going to the Elton John concert. We are in the burbs and have adjusted to the heat and go out in the evenings to walk. We are home bodies here and by the end of the day we are tired from taking care of the household.

Got to think about what the next streak should be. In the 43 days of Nutrition Tracking I had one alcoholic drink, a light beer. I guess that is a streak, alcohol free but I am ok with the occassional drink. When I drink a glass of wine before dinner it seems to stimulate my appetite.
Hubby & I do the cooking while our daughter is healing. We eat differently than DD. She is into almond milk, organic foods, little meat, juicing with veggies & fruit. I will try a kale smoothie one day. We discussed the merits of organic and I agree with organic animal products because of the hormones and antibiotics given to the animals. For plants, I think it is more efficient to use non-harmful chemicals to increase food production. I am OK with us having different opinions about organic foods.
I bought a new pair of yoga pants to replace the pair I bought in December which are now too big. I am down a pant size.
I am looking forward to the Spring Challenge. We have a lot of new members and lots of winter challengers, a good mix. I am really committed to getting my 5% in the 8 weeks. If I can lose another 4 pounds before the challenge starts, I could hit 199 by the end of the next challenge. My weight has been trending downward and I am optomistic again about where it is headed.
