Our Sponsor is Success

Success motivates me. If you experience success it motivates you, further. For me to be motivated by you, and then reflect that back on you, I need to see your feed. The feed tells the story.

As a note, I have made every element of my Spark presence available from my Home Page. I encourage you to do the same.

You don't have to do this, and you may not need to do this. I have to admit that I lost over 100 pounds without doing any of that. However, if you want maximum support from folks like me, that's what it may take.

One man's opinion,

Yes, 68Anne (Cheri) intelligent give and take is always more valuable than polemics. Unfortunately, the SP software does not support a Wiki approach.

Yes, DebbieFromMT, crowdsourcing IS what makes SparkPeople so effective.

My following others' feeds provides me with no points. They're an opportunity for me to find somebody doing something right and giving them a textual pat on the head, and/or a goodie. I only pay attention to actual nutritional, fitness, or body accomplishments. The rest is window dressing, IMAO.

Public blogs, on the other, allow me to see issues that others are struggling with, or transcending, and helping (or being helped by) them.

Again, if you want help, and/or want to help: (a) keep as much public as possible, and (b) consistently blog! As with fitness, nutrition, planning, and analysis, consistency is the most important factor.

Change -- our most important product.

I should pay more attention to the friend feed but have found that too many people just do it for the points.

Please remember not everyone wants to share their journey with the world. Your SparkPages are viewable in most major search engines.
