Got to the pool this evening and swam 48 lengths in 30 minutes. Woohoo! I did stop once to put baby shampoo in my goggles because they were fogging so bad, but beyond that I really did not stop. I did switch strokes each length, but I kept going, and I did a lot more crawl stroke than I have in the past. My goal eventually is to get to swimming at least that 1/4 mile amount non-stop at a crawl, but I guess that is going to take a little time to build up to.
Anyhow, I felt like I could have kept going, but my goal was 30 minutes, and I've already burned way too many calories today...
I'm also really struggling with my appetite right now. I have next to no appetite. And eating is often making me feel yucky. This has been going on for a few days now, and I'm not sure what the problem is... I am still a good 400 calories from my minimum and I have no idea what to eat right now. I've had all my meals, and I am NOT hungry... Granted I'm OK with losing a little more weight, but I also know that eating too little is just going to cause me problems. Today I am at almost a 1000 calorie deficit based on my workouts and what I've eaten, so I really really need to get in another 400-500 calories to at least bring that to just a 500 calorie deficit.
Anyhow, that's about the scoop. Need to start getting ready for bed. Maybe I will be hungrier tomorrow... bike day tomorrow.
